2017 5x10 dump trailer mostly just the bed is rusting.Catching it before any weak spots or holes in the floor.Does anyone have a recommendation on coating the bed.I do have a medium duty sand blaster and practically every other tool known to man.I also have a airless sprayer set up with fluid film but that I think would make it so a coating would never stick. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Paint of course, but it might be hard to keep paint on it. I'd look at one of the slick coating paints like gatorglide that they use on the hulls of airboats.

UHMWPE sheet. If it is not used commercially it will probably last forever.

Rhino line. A lot of truck boxes in this country have a heavy duty plastic mat that goes down on the floor.

My dump truck bed gets sprayed with diesel every now and then. But if u r gonna haul rocks paint is going to come off. Rhino liner or fluid film will make the dirt stick and u will have to shovel out what sticks. Just put the bed up a little when not using it. Water will run out.

if you didn't need to put clean stuff in it , I would say fluid film or even waste oil in a sprayer , tip it up and spray it down whenever you are leaving it out to store.

that or plan on pressure washing it out once a year , wire wheel any spots starting to rust and get a coat of enamel paint on it.

probably also fluid film the frame and underside

I’m definitely going to wire wheel the loose powder coat off as it’s always wet and rusting away underneath.I did fluid film underneath when I bought it and that held up well.
