If you haven't been following some people are saying that AI is going to take a hit. They are saying this b/c whatever company took loans to support kicking off their company leading in AI. The people loaning that money are seeing that those large companies are losing money or about to start losing money and are wondering how they are going to get their money back. i.e. what if Big Company X borrowed a quatrabillion dollars to be a leader in AI but their company is starting to lose money and having the AI they do have now isn't increasing their profits, they are actually going negative.

Anyway thats what some people are saying. The people that are saying it are also saying hey please realize that some of these funds that people just sit on and hold to forget about and collect money (i.e. the old way of investing) are at risk b/c those funds are heavy in these big companies, that might take a hit. Thats what some people are saying. I don't know how this effects you or what you should do but google around and see what you think.

In a paraphrased Nvidia example... Nvidia borrows money, and they say hey Nvidia customer Z you should invest in AI, here is some money b/c were partners, then customer Z takes the Nvidia $ and says hey thanks... here Nvidia this is an order for the new AI chips we need (and gives them their own money back, which Nvidia reports as "chip sales").

Anwyay thats what some people are saying if you haven't heard. Google around and see what you think if this is news to you if you like. Im sure there are other sides of the issue to learn about but you should at least know this is going on (if you don't and maybe I shouldn't assume you don't but I'm guessing someone on here somewhere hasn't heard this.) Thanks.

There is no way our government is going to let big tech companies fail, and they know it. Taxpayer funding for them is coming, if it hasn't already started. There will be no AI crash.

There's certainly some over leveraging out there. But like all new industries there's eventually going to be a crash and the weak companies will go away and the strong will survive.

The beauty of this Nasdaq correction is that all the dividend stocks in my Roth are jamming....as the rotation from Nasdaq to safer, more traditional stocks.

Maybe I shouldn't have used "crash". I didn't mean go out of business, I meant their stock take a significant (double digit percentage) hit.

Not a tip just a headline for you to investigate to see if you are interested.

You could have bought NSC (a railroad stock) this morning for 338. (boring railroad, not AI)

This always happens with over capitalized, new industries, it will all come out in the wash.
For better or for worse, AI is going to be sticking around, "they" will know you better than you know yourself.

Stocks droping is just a buying opportunity. Nothing to get worked about rather something to look forward to.

But in this field there will be some permanent losers. Remember the Dot.Com bust of 2000? Or whenever that was.

AI and all phones and internet could go down...forever.....be OK with me.

Grew up without any of that. Life will continue.

I have to agree but that's what allows progress.
Creative destruction is what it's all about. IMO

Remember Sears, Polaroid, Xerox, Woolworth, Netscape, et al ?

nVidia is in a pretty good spot with regards to a AI crash. The chip.marlet might slow down but it probably won't ever crater. The software side will see a lot of turnalence.

ASML is in a really good spot too IMO. At least for the near future. But that's just my 2 cents and it's probably not worth half a cent so don't anyone run out and buy it on my account, LOL.
