I just got home from a fishing trip out West and took this picture with you in mind. In hindsight, I probably should have worn my clean hat.

It was trout so no. This lake was a 5.5 mile hike in but had Tiger Trout. I saw 2 but couldn't get them to bite. The lake with Grayling was another 2.5 miles and I am too fat and old to hike 16 miles a day in the mountains any more.

Beautiful country for sure and the 60-70 degree temps felt great.

RAPIDLY. I love the mountains and miss Idaho but it isn't "home". Besides, I prefer working fires on flat ground. smile

I have been retired almost 4 years and never dreamed I would "hike" in the mountains without a chainsaw or Mark III on my back. Hiking without 100 pounds of gear is almost enjoyable.

I enjoy that stretch of road ....hwy 26 south out of Dubois, towards Riverton. Couple nice places there I wouldn't mind owning.

There is also a pretty cool 100 million dollar private military museum on that same stretch of road.
