Hello. I can Google search it but figured someone on here may have a method. A mouse/rabbit chewed about 3" off the tip of a whitetail rack my son shot. I have plenty of racks/tips to chose from. My thought was to cut it off flush as well as the replacement tip, drill a hole in each end, put a rod/nail in and epoxy it, get some kind of filler to even it up, sand, stain to try and blend it in. So anyone have a method that they have done? Thank you for your time.

In the past I have repaired small parts of broken antlers , with Apoxie sculpt. It comes in three different colors, white seems to work best for antlers. You will have to drill a hole into the antler and put in a piece of wire for added support. It is a two part product you mix together and shape and smooth to make the shape of the antler. It will harden into shape in about two hours so you have a little working time. McKenzie taxidermy supply is where I order it from. When you are forming the antler repair a wash rag dipped in warm water helps a lot with the shaping. G.
