There seems to be a start of a stuffed raccoon craze in Europe. We need this guy.

I just read up on this a little. The store that sold the taxi coon are being inundated with orders for stuff. About 30% international orders.

A stuffed raccoon craze would help the market and build interest in other fur items too. When someone, with as many devoted followers as he, buys fur publicly and makes a big thing out of it, it's likely to be good for the market.

I suspect the demand for feet on finished raccoons will go up noticeably. I hope so.

There a lot of money to be made in that type of stuff . Now some people (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) where making $150 a pop on skulls they would clean dry and paint or grow crystals on. Gotta sell to a few groups most trappers wouldn't like to deal with tho lol

The oddities groups on Facebook is a large, mostly untapped market. The prices people pay for skulls, other bones and miscellaneous weird pieces are much higher than fur market prices.

Keith

Wouldn't take much to saturate that market if everybody started doing it.

I joined several of those Facebook groups. They pay decent money for stuff most people here dump, especially gross stuff.

the boy has been making bank this last week at a horse farm that has a coon issue.

they don't want traps because they have stupid horse people around by day. but pay for him to come shoot them at night suppressed so no one hears a thing and none of the horses are spooked in the killing of coons.

4 more coons and the suppressor is earning in the black.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Oh yeah, tails. Good catch Keith. I also forgot hind feet. Sold a couple of bags of those at the Idaho sale this past season. Never had the time to harvest claws but I did make Fanny a necklace once with beaver claws and teeth. Looked really awesome....then she loaned it to a friend for some party and never got it back.

Bet they would sell like hotcakes at flea markets, pow wows, black powder events and such.

Son showed me a vid of guy who makes pillows out of the whole hide. One he showed was a wolf, maybe this business is a new phase in the pelt market.

There's a bunch of stuffed pillows being out of deceased pets too, so women can still cuddle with them. To me, that's gross.
