Thanks guys. I usually plant at least 25 tomatoes and end up with 35. I need to figure out large melon or pumpkin patches really. They say sweet corns the thing to sell. I like knowing that i know how to grow a big garden if i need to. Its more just keeping a thing going.

What variety are the big purple tomatoes?

I planted about 50 varieties this year but they're only starting to ripen, May was too cold to plant.

I grow mostly Cheorkee Purple tomatoes, a few yellows, cherries, and whatever strikes me. If I plant 20 plants 12 of them are cherokee purples.

Anna Russian are good tomatoes here, mostly meat, no seeds. The are elongated like some of yours. I wonder if you know of it over there or not lol?

Yes, we have it here, but I haven't tried growing it. I mostly planted heirloom varieties this year, mostly American and Italian but also a bunch of good local varieties. South Siberia is good for tomatoes. You can read about Minusinsk tomatoes, the Minusinsk Hollow has anomalously mild climate and a ton of excellent tomato varieties originate there. Lots of good dwarf varieties were developed here in Siberia, so far I like them more, overall, than the varieties from the Dwarf Tomato Project that I've tried. Better productivity and resilience. The Klusha and Buyan series are excellent.
You can send seeds from the US, I think USPS and Russian Post are friends again after cutting ties in 2022. I know that heirloom vegetable enthusiasts globally swap seeds with the US internationally, always have, but your customs are not happy about it so it's all done discretely. Just some little dried up chunks of vegetable flesh accidentally stuck to pages and pages of love letters.
