They eat every meal communally except for Sunday evenings. When they get married, the bride always moves to the husbands colony, many young hutterites around here, get their spouses from Canada. Many of the women have dual citizenship. It costs roughly $12,000 and two years to attain US citizenship. I take many of them walleye fishing and in return they are always ready to help me with any project I need help with. Their Christian beliefs are taught and instilled in their youths early on and like any group, some are more committed than others. Overall, they are good hardworking, intelligent people and I find it highly offensive that a low IQ tman member would suggest they are commies in the order of Stalin.

Most everything you said is true, but for a couple exceptions. They do not have Christian beliefs. In fact if anyone in their colony converts to Christianity, they are thrown out. There are several YouTube videos about this from people who have become Christians and either left voluntarily or been removed. They are a works-based religious cult that looks a lot like Christianity until you look under the surface.

They are a socialist society, not communist. Everything is owned by the colony, and if you follow the rules you'll have a nice life with no bills and no financial stress. If you're a little bit of a rebel they will make your life miserable.

They have money. A LOT of money. They are buying up land and outbidding locals all over the US and Canada.

Overall, they are very honest, hardworking people who are very loyal to their cult. Their system of having each colony having a specialty (lumber, hog raising, turkey raising, farming, Manufacturing, etc.) Is very effective and extremely profitable.

Never met one but should fit in good in Eugene, Oregon if that's the criteria.

Generally, I find that Christians really hate people if they’re not just like themselves.
Actually it holds true for most “hardcore” religious types no matter the religion, I just run into Christian’s waaaay more than any other. Look how they split and start their own cult if they don’t agree with someone in their church……..lol.
Not the Hutts, you can split, that’s fine, but you won’t be on their property!

Have you actually asked them that???? I seriously doubt it. Because that is exactly what gets them kicked out.

Truth!!

Hutterites in Sask are strongly Christian. Hutterite is an actual branch of Anabaptist. The name Hutterite implies Christian, if anyone is implying Hutterites are not Christian they’re not discussing Hutterites as they branched off with the Amish and Mennonites centuries ago. They’re maybe the exception to the rule shakey spoke of. They don’t care what others do or how others live, they welcome outsiders (even atheists) graciously to their colonies and are overall very nice people. They don’t go knocking on doors to spread the word, they don’t run around school yard playgrounds trying to recruit kids to evangelical youth groups or Bible camps, they keep to themselves for the most part, are hardworking, proactive and extremely successful in growing agricultural monster corporations .

Many of them can skin out a coyote in the blink of an eye.

All three of those are Christian God believing and live their lives by faith in my neck of the woods. Must be some other group in Northern Mn then the rest of the colonies in other states. Better Christian people then most denominations church going people in the states. Lol

Anabaptists don't believe in infantile baptism because you should be old enough to understand what the baptism means. Guess that means I've always been anabaptist myself.

In all fairness, it is YouTube that has led person/people to believe Hutterites kick members out for becoming Christian. Lol

Tell that to eight day old Hebrew male babies. Our Savior included.

The parallel here should be clear.

There isn't one denomination including the the colonies that have been talked about, that agrees on every aspect of Christianity. Which one is Right?? Are any Right?? Most believe in the one thing that really matters. I won't condemn any realign but respect their faith in how they interpret the Bible.

Never met one. But we have Plow Shares around here, which pretty much put a bad taste in my mouth and make me real leery of these religious, socialist, colonies/communes.

God is powerful enough, that if He wanted everyone to believe the same, we would. It's obvious that's not important to Him.
