Usually catch half a dozen moles through the summer and fall in my yard. Haven't seen any sign this year until
three weeks ago. Set a scissor trap and caught it. A day later one came through on other side of yard. Moved the
trap and got another. Since then 12 moles have met their demise out of that one trap. My wife waters her flowers every day and the moles must be coming from neighbors to the moisture as it has been real dry. I hate to think what my yard would look like if left unchecked. Will have to see if I can catch 20 with that one set. Still waiting for uptick in the mole fur market.
