What's the longest thumb driven syringe pole you can get and where can you get one

The ones that I make are 4 foot. Plenty long, make them too long it is more difficult to make an accurate delivery. I make a 2 foot break down model one also that I carry on my ATV. I put it a pvc tube to carry it and components.

I built mine out of one of those expandable paint poles.

Tomahawk traps sells one that is 72" for $100.00.

Im a journey man toolmaker. I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for so, I ordered material to make my own take down model. May make a few to sell.
3,6,9' model or a 4,8 ' . Not sure which yet. But thanks guys for the suggestions.

I was at the Fur Takers convention in Iowa a couple years ago. A father and son had a skunk pole that consisted of two 3/8-inch Fiberglas rods held together with what I’d call a couple plastic figure 8 clips. A syringe was glued to the end. They wanted ~$25 for it. The material cost looked to be <$10. I didn’t buy one but I remember the design in case I need to build my own

I have never used one but understand the concept. Couldn't I simply epoxy the syringe plunger to the end of a pole or fiberglass rod? Sort of a "jab stick"?
Load the syringe itself, insert the plunger, then stick the animal?

I've loaded a syringe and duct taped it to the end of a rod many times. Knock on wood, I have never been sprayed.

A real pain to load the syringe with the plunger already glued to the pole. And trying to "just" load the syringe with the plunger out if VERY hard. And the acetone wants to run right out.

Use 2-"L" brackets to hold the syringe and tighten with a wing nut to keep it tight.

I make a pole that the syringe is threaded onto an adapter then the pole for easy drawing of the syringe.

I use rubbing alcohol rather than acetone, which allows me to use the carcasses for bait,which any thing will clean right up…acetone is fast but creates a toxic waste product…bait makers explicitly don’t want carcasses if they have been injected with acetone.
