Seldom do I ever post on this Trapper Talk Board but I finally found a recent personal factoid that would possibly fit it in to this type of discussion Board. I was out gathering permissions for trapping mink on drainage waterways in my County and I found a property that owned part of a ROW and I recognized the name of the owner that I knew way back in high school. You might say “intimately knew”! LOL I stopped and spoke with the wife about permission to trap rats & mink and had a nice conversation between 2 elderly adults and she said she’d have her husband call or text me. Well, the wife texted me that night with a polite NO and that was very nice of her. I’m sure that when she told her husband my name he recalled vivid memories of our last meeting in 1964. That’s right, 62 years ago! LOL He & his brother thought they wanted to kick my (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) one night at a dance club on a Friday night for some reason but were sorely unprepared for what happened to the two of them! I know I remember seeing that I left one bleeding from his eye and ear and the other was laid flat out. So on Monday morning they both looked like raccoons except for all the tape! Raccoons do not wear adhesive tape across their faces! Apparently he still harbors repressed feelings of inadequacy toward me! LMAO!! I’m OK with not trapping his property but glad he remembers me!
