Ed Mendtz 724-479-9442. He is very interesting to visit with. Don’t be in a hurry to get off the phone with him.

The DLS kits have a locking nut and bolt, and the pan tension can change some if you catch a coyote that really works the trap

Duke #5DLS come with them installed, baseplated with center D ring too……..good deal!
Or at least they used to. I can still get them new here for $35

Being able to set your trap before you leave the house is awesome.

He makes a step down PIT pan as well as a larger than normal, like three inch pan for #3’s and fours.

I put some on 14 jumps, and it is great when you are on a new dam to be able to set on shore and carry it to the set.

I called him a few years back and,I was on the phone with him for sometime but I didn't regret it one bit.I thought he was fascinating.I especially found it interesting he uses No.3 jumps with his pans installed,he said he had over 300 of them.I have nothing against jump traps,I have quite a few myself, most guys today consider them boat anchors

Someone mentioned the Paws-I-Trip patent...look at ALL of the traps that had some kind of PIT system on them throughout the years...a well proven system.
