I wouldn't consider the highest-paid federal employee with a government pension based on a 40 year career to be a victim of hanging by a lynch mob... seems he skated off into the sunset pretty much scot-free; Presidential AutoPen Pardon in-hand. ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN didn't give any time to conservative viewpoints. It was only when the Right began making inroads into the public discourse that real "divisiveness" evolved.
