I am tinkering around making a couple "hopefully" Native American looking spears for decorations in my new bunkhouse. On one I am using a diamond shaped steel point and the straightest ash sapling I could find. Got the sapling all debarked and carved down to a solid shaft that is now drying. As it dries I am constantly turning and hanging small weights to make it dry straight. It's about 6 foot plus long. I am just wondering if someone out there in Trapperman Land makes hand knapped spearheads that they sell..... or if someone knows someone? They are on E Bay for sale too. After I get the points mounted on the shafts ( will use leather lace and straps) I'll use different colored leather wraps and real... maybe fake... fur and have beads and feathers dangling with leather laces. IDoes anyone do this for a hobbiy.. I think they will look cool.... Thanks

I've seen his donated ones at the PTA District 3 auction...they are VERY nice!
