These get sold off as first come first served. Looks the the DNR website crashed again. It happens every year. You would think they would get the ducks in a row. Son purchased a tag before it crashed and he emailed them and hasn't heard a word if he even got one. But they took his money. We need a change.

We need to go back to everyone can have a bear on their deer license.

At the convention I went by the dnr booth and scarfed up a copy of the new regs. First thing I checked was otter limit and muskrat season. No change to either. Of course, why would there be.......?

Does it say how we are to tag them on our possession tags this year same with fisher, the way I understand is we won't have them?

So do you mean the blue coupons like we have had in the past? Out of curiosity, when I got my new license in early March, I asked for the otter coupies. I was asking to see if maybe the limit was going to change. I got the string of 4 otter coupies, but no coupies for fisher/marten, sooo.......? I don`t know man.

Yep I usually don't get my otter and fisher tags until fall. I've been lucky enough to fill my otter tags before spring.

Otter limit is still the same.

My understanding is they are doing away with the blue "coupons". You can either do it on you phone in the field using their app or print out possession tags at home and fill them out as usual. I may be wrong on the blue coupons

It sounds like everything will be by phone as far as licenses, tagging, etc. according to a CO we had at our last sportsman's meeting. A lot of questions about tagging a deer. What if you are in an area with no service? What if you don't know how to get to the site to register an animal? Sounds like a lot glitches for us old timers.

They say if you do it on their app and there is no service the app will save it and send it when back in service. It will be saved on the app to show a warden if needed.

I'm not putting their app on my phone. There will be ways to get around it. At least for now.

I really don't think there was a lot of thought put into this. I know many people that don't have computers or cell phones.
