Got a Custer bending tool today… I ruined 4 nails until I finally figured out how to correctly place the nail,, lol.
I guess I suck at reading directions. Anyway,,, I guess I should have bought one of these things years ago… just because it’s neat to have in case you need a few things in a pinch.

Did you guys struggle with it the first time y’all messed around with it??

I made mine own because I didn't like that it moved the nail when making a bend
I have 2 steel pins about 1/2" apart in a small piece of flat steel
I use a piece of 1/4" steel tubing to bend the nail
