If you have a Bomgaars near you, they have #50 bags of their in-house brand Basic 12% sweet livestock feed on sale currently for $10.99 a bag, AND you can send in the rebate form to get an in-store rebate for $5.00 per bag.
Makes it just $5.99 for 50 pounds. That’s a lot of DP bait or whatever you want to use it for.
Inexpensive deer feed pile stuff too.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Told my wife on way home after church how impressed with Bomgaars I am after we filled up our car with the 10 bag maximum. Niver thought about feeding it to coons as I have too many sheep and other livestock that eat it first.....
They also had boxes of shotgun shells with rebates down to 4.99 after rebate just in time for dove season for those looking.....

Question about sweet feed. Does it freeze in the DP when the temps drop below freezing?

Never too old to learn

I ate sweet feed when I was a young lad. Before that, in kindergarten, I ate school paste to warsh down the dry as popcorn farts Cheerios and puffed rice during art class.
Sometimes I still get a hankerin for it.

It works well for me in DPs but I don’t set anything here until December and we don’t get much rain here that time of year. Sometimes yes, but not often.
I ran this stuff in DPs for many seasons and it hammers coon about as well as anything else I’ve put into a DP.
Just trying to help some folks save a little money by getting bulk at very cheap.
I dumped a #50 pound bag of this stuff on ground early yesterday morning on our property across the road, and by where I have an old PVC feeder. Coons were visiting it almost immediately and were there on camera ALL day long same with deer. These are from yesterday.
