I'm a big fan of thinsulate/fleece/flannel lined jeans. I've been wearing Wranglers for years, now I'm looking for other options. Wrangler only makes theirs in regular fit (in the green/brown color). My "thick thighs" aren't exactly regular fit any more.
I've not been impressed by Carhartt's quality lately, they seem to wear out in a very short time.
What are you guys wearing for lined jeans?

I have a pair of Smiths, in brown which I rarely wear, but they are more roomy than most jeans...

Looked them up, no lined jeans in their lineup at this time. Oh well, the search continues.

I have a pair of Cabelas brand lined jeans I wear for ice fishing or late season deer hunting. I like them.

I have many pairs of lined with flannel and insulated jeans. That is all I wear in the cold months. Have had to sew some patches on my favorite ones a few times. I have rain pants and chaps I wear to keep them mostly dry except for the bottoms obviously. I don't remember the brand names I just bought and ordered what I could find when a pair would wear or get a fence tear etc..

I do have some insulated bibs I wear on occasion when it gets real rough outdoors.

Just did a quick search, Amazon, of all places, has black only lined jeans, in most sizes

Good thing with Amazon, if you don't like them they're easy to return

I may have to check out a pair of those. I'm not a huge fan of their fire hose pants, but that's partly my fault. They seem to shrink in length a good bit after a few washings. I guess I just need to buy them extra long.

Their jeans don't seem to shrink, but I'd really prefer something in green or brown, not blue.

I wear chaps any time I am land trapping. And I have heavy bibs for when it gets real cold. Its the 10 to 40 range that I really like the insulated jeans.

Lot's of choices in fit, style, and fabric. Watch for sales, i've gotten alot of their stuff at 50% off.
Don't know where you are, but there are stores in Oshkosh, Port, and Waukesha, besides mail order.

I'm only about 25 minutes from Port, and visit family quite often in Mt. Horeb, where their headquarters is.

I try to get to New Glarus a couple times a year for their outlet store also.

Last year, the day before Thanksgiving, my big freezer rolled over and died. So black Friday found me consorting with the mass`s, freezer shopping. For some reason, I wound up at Fleet Farm and happened to pass right by the rack of fleece lined jeans. $20 a pair!! I`m thinking right away these things have to be crap and when they start going into self destruct, I`ll rip out the lining and still have something close to a pair of Carhart canvas knockoffs. No such thing! I wore those things all winter, hardly put on my insulated bibs at all, and they are still going rock solid. I wound up back at Fleet just before Christmas, and like the goody sniffing bear that I periodically am, I swung by the flannel lined jeans rack and it was getting picked kind of bare, but I still scarfed 2 pairs for the princely sum of $21 per pair, and they are just great too. I just looked for labels and can`t find a brand name, just the regulars, made in Madagascar. I mean I haven`t even seen any stitching letting go. Talk about falling in the dead freezer doo doo and come out smelling like prime Beaver pelts.

I got no use for anything like that.
Regular pants add long johns in winter and light ski pants for operating working or trapping in deep snow.
layering is key to keep comfortable.

I'd rather wear insulated jeans, then long johns under jeans. If I never take the long johns off during the day, i dont need the extra layer. I've work lined jeans for 30ish years in the late fall and winter. Love em.

I'll add bibs over them if its real cold.

X2....live in fleece lined wranglers during winter. Ive got a lot heavier gear when needed, but other than merino base layers for hunting, I dont care for long johns. To each their own...
