yep, same here a few weeks ago. A bunch of young ones then too. But then there were 4 or 5 owls hunting them mid day and the numbers dropped. I still see 2 or 3 in the yard at a time, but nothing like it was. I was surprised to see the owls out in the daylight.

Yep,we never had cotton tails around our place until a few years ago,now they're everywhere. We never fenced in our garden from deer because our dogs pretty much kept them away, now anything not fenced in the rabbits ravage.Their numbers around the old homestead seemed to have leveled off lately,I think that maybe because we now have weasels running around, and a hawk or two that hangs around a lot.The dogs used to get quite a few now its just a couple. The farmer that works the fields across the road from us said this spring when they were working the ground up they were running everywhere.

No shortage of bunnies down here. The same for turkeys. See three or four rabbits in my back yard eating and bathing in a sand spot regularly. Sometimes 5 or 6 show up. Have three hens and about 20 poults that eat our strawberries and hit the bird feeder at least once or twice a week. We used to have 8 to 10 does and their fawns coming into the lawn and garden regularly until EHD hit a few years ago for the second time. Now we are down to 2 does and their fawns.
