Try finding the Slim fit, boot cut, seems the jeans manufacturers think everyone needs a wide load sign hung between the back pockets or around the waist

Slim fits don't work for me. Only a 33 waist, but my thighs are not "slim". The wrangler I've been wearing are a classic fit, which have a fairly small thigh circumference.

Diet, exercise, and a trip or 2 to the local second hand shops.

Rural King. They have them in a brown color and blue jean color. I have several pair. Been happy with them.

Weight training is what got me the thick thighs, not donuts and beer.

5'8", 185 pounds and a 405 deadlift. I ain't skipping leg day to wear skinny jeans.
