Im on the other side of the state or we could all rally at my place. If yall get closer to Indiana yell at me. Things are gettin kinda sporty up in Detroit (3-4 hours) with the burka marches, I prefer corn tortillas myself. If yall get over this way I can give a half descent road soda tour of all the General St Clair, Mad Anthony Wayne, and Tecumseh spots / history. Fly outta Dayton and I can pick ya up at the airport.

T-County as the locals call it. One of the best deer counties in the state.

Paul, years ago I was talking to one of my dad’s friends who’s long gone. He was an old trapper and he said he stopped jn some gas station up in Canton back in the 70’s. He noticed a guy working on a tire and recognized him. Said it was your dad. He said he had good conversation with him.

Imagine how many would show up if the trapper formally known as Savell was buying!

Randy, shame you didn't get a heads up. Could have given him a golf lesson.

We had several underground coal mines in that area.

If you have time, stop in at Dennison, Ohio. It’s close by. They have a bunch of old steam and diesel locomotives on display in town. It’s 10 miles from New Philly.

We are going to try and work that in the next time he comes up, if he has time. Maybe even a ride along on my mink line if it is in the winter.

Real nice area, lots of amish and Mennonite's from new Philadelphia west. Lots of things to see, places to eat, and shops to go into. Take at least a couple days or a week to see everything. There's maybe a half dozen different towns with amish shops and what not.

You could bring the wife next time, I'm sure you would both enjoy it.

In the town named Charm, is the Charm boot or could be harness and boot store. They have a bunch of deer mounts hanging inside, huge bucks shot local by amish and Mennonite's. It's impressive, good bucks in that area in general. Guy I used to know shot a bunch down around where 77 meets 70.

Plus good deals on boots and what not.
