Enamel reducer calls for 1 pint per gallon or 1 to 8.
Hardener calls for 1/2 pint per gallon or 1 to 16.

I do not want to mix the whole gallon.
Is there an easy way to sypher this?

So easy a color blind cave man can do it lol.

Paint mixing cups, they have the ratios marked on the sides. Here's a link:

Mixing ratio ...8:1:2

8 parts paint

1 part hardner

2 parts reducer

If the cup with the measurements doesn't have that scale...

Use 4 parts paint

1l2 part hardner

1 part reducer

I think Nessmuck is off on the ratio. It should be 8 : 1 : 1/2

If you want 9.5 ounces do:
8 ounces paint
1 ounce reducer
1/2 ounce hardener

Cut that in half, double it, whatever. Just scale them all up/down at the same rate (halving, doubling, etc)

Thanks, I now am re-assured.
I can easily deal with that 8 1 2.

Next is dirt?
I sprayed thinner diluted primer and yikes.
After color, Can I wet sand 400 and hand buff with ??

The old binks gun is in ultrasonic right now
and yes had dirt I did not notice before.

Tomorrow, we go mixing colors, taping new finish, and clear.
NOT lol.
