Hey all T Man family..... does anyone use a creme on your feet at night if your feet burn and are tingling and numb. If so what brand or if you have any Comments about what worked or what don't, it would be appreciated. Some nights my feet burn and lower legs really are numb. This probably is related to my compressed nerves (after surgery they are supposedly decompressing some) and possibly some nerve damage where I had a couple back surgeries due to several slipped vertebrae, arthritis, along with a bad case of spinal stenosis. But my Dr said I could be developing Neuropathy.... at this point I willing to try some different cremes on my feet to see if they help... even a little. Thanks !!

No cream but stretching helps with the spine issues for me. Now when that doesn't work its in my head and just how the brain is geting messed up singles. Can be nothing there at all but feel like there is. Or can be backwards. For example the dogs spilled their water. I found it by stepping in it with my right sock foot. It felt like hot water. I looked all over looking for a hot water leak since it was hot. Couldn't find a leak steped in the water with my left foot and it was cold as expected. Then I had two wet sock feet. It was like that for a while . Cold feet hot on my right leg to my foot.

Pins and needed, tingling, weakness, being stiff just part of the MS daily play book of whats next and how will today go.

A friend had to take physical therapy for neuropathy in his feet. As you progressively lose sensation, walking, especially if there is clutter or variations in the surface, becomes very difficult and falls become common. The therapists can teach you how to walk more safely, when you can't feel what you are walking on. They can also help you keep your motor skills refined. I hope you don't reach that point and that you regain sensation in your feet and legs.

No creams, but doc put me on duloxetene (sp?). 20 mg pretty low dose I guess, but it helped quite a bit with the stinging/burning.

Good! Some people seem to be able to handle gabapentin ok but for others it's BAD news.

I had back surgery 30 years ago and was put of Gapa, it caused it's own problems and I had to quit after a few years. It did seem to help though a little. But after a long time the sensations SLOWLY got less. Now I am not even aware of it until I go to bed and when I get up. Just the bottom of the ball of the feet and toes. Finally hardly notice it. At first it kept me awake and burned and I could not get to sleep. Now ok........jk

I have neuropathy from the kidney failure. I have tried creams and different meds from the doc. The thing that seems to help is a vitamin drink the wife found thats heavy on B-12 . After a while, at a cup a day, I did notice a change for the good. Have to stay up with it though which is my problem. Coffe I remember easy, other stuff not so much
