I didn't want to hijack the other thread about feet. Does anyone have a simple fure for Plantar Warts, I have one on each foot and at times they are quite painful.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I googled it.
Duct tape can also help remove plantar warts by covering the wart for several days, then soaking and filing it down repeatedly.

Had one on my heel long time ago.It grew to about the size of a quarter I bought a bottle of that wart remover from the drugstore and put lots on the wart,at bedtime covered it with a large bandaid to keep the juice on the wart and went to sleep. Woke up in the middle of the night and it felt like my heel was on fire.Next morning I peeled off the bandaid to have a look and the wart was all black. It turned into a scab after a couple days and you could see it was not just one big wart but a cluster of small ones. After a while it just healed over and no more wart ever came back.Still have a scar on my heel where it was. How is your pain tolerance?

Thanks for the input, my wife has been treating it with an over the counter thingy. It has a little black dot you put on the wart and then a little band aid about the size of a dime. You are to change it every 48 hours, Dr Scholl's.. I am not flexible enough to see the bottom of my feet so I never saw a little black thing like several of you have mentioned. Yesterday when I took a shower and took the little band aid off to change it I felt loose skin, I had my wife cut the loose skin away and I no longer have the pain, she said she did not see a black thingy.

Doc used Liquid Nitrogen and swabbed it on. Gone in a week or so.

It is not a good Idea to walk around barefoot on hotel room carpets, apparently there is lots of crap you can pick up including plantar warts. Keep your hip boots on.
