Are you that are against flock cameras really the type that thinks, everyone follows the law? I don't care what it is, there's always those that will cheat the system. You have to weigh the pros and cons of them. Just because one area/police department did so much criminal activity , doesn't mean it's every police department. Remember that as one gets away with something, their friends will also try to get away with it. In that article it was an isolated department. Not saying it doesn't happen elsewhere, because criminals are everywhere. So do we let them get away with it, and destroy a tool that actually helps solve many crimes? In away it's like the fraud in Minnesota , it kept spreading because those that could do something turned their backs to it. Thy became involved also. Easy on charles he is old and stuck in one way of thinking. Can't even comprehend the government not being trustworthy or people misusing the cameras. Won't even look at a very clear link I posted of cops doing just that.
He cant see he is the same mind set that helped round up the jews and the anti gun croud. Completely focused on a single situation and missing the forest for the trees.
Its not his fault its his generation. You know the you can trust people and the government type.
Not true. Nothing to do with the generation! Plenty of people his age that aren't democrats!

Here in Georgia just within the last month over a half a dozen officers from as many departments have been let go or arrested for misusing flock cameras, the most common being stalking a romantic partner. It's just a minor local thing, I guess.

Not just democrats, my 84yo father has voted republican since 1960 and thinks AR-15s should be outlawed and can't bring himself fully support Trump even though he voted for the guy. Go figure. I've given up trying to change his mind on things. He thinks I'm in jail if he hasn't heard from me in a month because I'm just a scofflaw that hates authority.

Like how a lot of older people still think Israel are our best friends and will loose minds if you say other wise? I wouldn't say best friends. They definitely have their own agenda, as they should, more like our best "friend" in that neighborhood. Is their agenda at odds with ours, probably so, but I definitely wouldn't call them an enemy, nor do they control us or the world, though they might want to and try to. Would they screw us over, in a heartbeat if it was in their best interest as I would think we should do as well if the role was reversed.

Like how a lot of older people still think Israel are our best friends and will loose minds if you say other wise? Exactly. Do I like it no, can anything open their eyes nope. So I looked at them and the situation and accepted they chose to be ignorant and disregard clear accurat info. That dose not make them a bad person just one to watch and keep outside of your close circle. You know ow thay me be cool on some things but would turn in their mother for j walking.

“ Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."……… Ben Franklin…..Still holds true today no matter what the times and technology are. "The word safety appears explicitly in only one place in the U.S. Constitution: Article I, Section 9, Clause 2, known as the Suspension Clause. This clause states that the privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, "unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it." "
