Few things Selfie Man.....1) I'm not whining. I have 18 Belisle 330s and was about to add only 6 more...but 18 is about all I really need to handle the current beaver work I get, 2) I don't hunt deer in Florida, 3) please educate yourself on the difference between a beaver and a deer...two totally different pursuits and for different reasons.

Shakey, I looked at 5 major sites and they all raised their rates about the same. Monkey see monkey do. And some price gouging going on for sure.
Best bet is to go see the little guy that hasn't replenished stock yet and see if he still has the old prices. I did find one that hadn't raised prices, but he isn't well known.

I've never had an issue with Belisle breaking springs

You guys down there might not have heard of him, but there’s a guy in the US that’ll make you a good trap, I think his nick name is Kendell Obermier but not sure if that’s his real name. Real tough to find, very rare USA made quality traps. I’ve got a dozen of his finer big stuff……. I’d rather buy 2 or 3 of his than getting a dozen of the other garbage out there.

I see MTP has a 1000' of 3/32 7X7 cable for $83. When demand shrinks, price should follow. You could wait and buy your Belisle's then SW.

That would be true in an actual free market economy. When you have the government intervening with things such as tariffs, supply and demand gets skewed. You can't expect manufacturers to sell things for less than it costs to produce them, can you? If demand drops enough, the likelier scenario in that case would be to just stop production as Sleepy Creek has done.
