I guess you’re right. Heck, watching the last 2 years, no sense in even starting below $1k!

Todd, correct me of I'm wrong but I think only one has sold below a 1000 and that was the one tom purchased.

You should know, of the 10 you have 6 , right?

On the 825 mile drive home to Wisconsin, I found lots of good set locations using all of my new wisdom!
Now all I need is lots of permission in Wyoming, Nebraska, SoDak, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
After the first hundred miles or so, my bride lost interest in what would be a good location and took a nap.

Thanks to John and the entire crew. Coyote Days has been on my list of things to do for a few years and I was not disappointed. The demos were great and the people even better. The auction proved that a lot of the demo guys give more than just their time and knowledge. I sure wish I could sell my syrup here for what it brought at the auction.
Once again Thanks to all.
JD

Only at coyote days dies a gallon of syrup sell for over 300.

Someone asked me if those front center tables lost their minds running each other up. The answer? Why certainly!

I think a jar of honey went for 400 lol

Actually 2 have sold for under $1000 the third one of mine and the one Tom wanted and I let him have.
Plus the one John gave me, so it wouldn't get out of control. There have only been 8 and yes, I have 4 of them!

At $80/pint it comes out to $640/gallon, so, $325 for a gallon was a bargain. (I always figured that Wisconsin syrup was worth more than Michigan syrup)

Buying his own honey and donating it back to sell for $400 was awesome!

Watching the bidding had me laughing out loud a few times. What a great bunch of people!!!!!

$60/ day, and around 80 cents a mile, plus motel rooms is the gig here…I was gone for 6 nights and ran 2300 miles as some of it is scouting as I deviated from the path just a little. Self employment is a game.

I can’t believe the amount of work and volunteers that went into that. The Cattrax dinner was spectacular! All of it was great, and totally inspiring for a less experienced trapper like myself. Thank you especially to all the Grahams for putting on a great event.
