Just found a chipmunk in a bucket of rain water. It's been there awhile, could smell it a good distance away. Dumped it & washed the bucket but as I threw the bucket over the hill the death smell hit me pretty good. Just wondering if I find another one should I try the death water in a dirt hole? Kinda felt like I was throwing out some free attractant & smooshy bait as the chipmunk was pretty close to just fur & bones.
Any thoughts?
