I just checked, I can get them here for $39 Canadian dollars if I were to buy a dozen, it would cost me $41 a piece Canadian to buy them in less than a dozen amounts. 29 American bucks a piece is the damage at that price.

A Georgia trapper posted 14 dozen used Belisle 330s on FB Marketplace last week for $225/dozen. He sold 4 dozen quickly. I got him to hold me 1 dozen.

A stick straight up on both sides of a 330 is what i think you are thinking about, im talking about when i need to make a X with the sticks, they won't fit in between those bent jaws as well, you can set on the outer hair trigger setting on the belisle and make it possible sometimes but the set i use that on id prefer a trap not on a hair trigger. Have same problem with the newer bridgers.

At any rate appears Trump and Canada came to an agreement so no tarriff's on anything going either way, win win for all of us and id imagine belisles will probably be a dime a dozen again here soon, lol.

Can a real trapper from Alabama, a place with a population of roughly 5 million with about 500 resident fur catching licenses sold annually really actually not know that a province in Canada of just 1 million would have about 4500 trappers licenses sold annually? Could a real trapper really be so arrogant and ignorant to post such nonsense without actually looking that up?

Your numbers may be correct, and I realize parts of Manitoba, I believe Northwest Territories, and private ground in places in Canada you don't need a registered trapline. I freely admit to not knowing all the Canadian regs, but that underlined statement is pure BS. Being only allowed to use certified bodygrips in a certified manner and target species (even certified bodygrips are certified per target animal, just because it is certified for one animal doesn't mean you can use it for another) is no restrictions?
