That is my plan, just wanted some input first! i have never used one before! Thank you

I have tried a lotnof them thay all worked. I like these ^^ pull only and thye have held up well.

I prefer pull only to avoid cats.. but sometimes cats still get into them. So whan cats may be an issue i use a sweet bait cats wont be intrested is.

Glad you will be attending. That way you can get some hands on see and feel, plus it is easier for most people to tell you their opinions then type them. Personally I have a mixture of Grizz, Duke and Z traps. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference between them in my opinion. Let us know what brand you decide on purchasing.

After you get them home post on here for "What is the best bait for my DP's? " You will get near five pages of opinions on that!! G.

Coon Daggers are the best one.

The NoBS dogproofs are built like a tank ( like all their other traps) but are hard to set and they don’t make setters for them.
Due to arthritis in both hand l have difficulty setting them. The next ones l get will probably be Dukes.

Good Luck

I always used Dukes however when they started powder coating them I noticed a significant difference in the spring strength compared to the non coated ones. I still use the non coated ones but any new ones i have purchased have been Sterling Grizz.

For anybody that wants a good dog proof setter get a small pair of oil filter pliers. Makes removal so easy. The curve wraps around the body of trap

I use the same setters for several brands of DPs. I have more No BS than any other brand but use the same setters on all of them. I couldn't tell you what brand of setter I have. They came with a big lot of mixed brand DPs I bought a couple years ago.

Bridger and duke or the ones I use. I don’t have a lot of them, I use # 11 and 1 1/2 the most. I just use them around homes.

dukes and wolf creeks also have some fox hollow, fox ridge something like that those have enormous spring strength which isn't needed IMHO I prefer the ones with a spike for sticking in the ground
