I paid $300 for a dozen once.....no...twice.

I don't buy belisles anymore. Bought one to try and it wasn't my cup of tea.
Kept all my Victor's that I like and bought another dozen for reserve.
That was quite a few years ago.
I also use some of the original bridger 330's that I modified to my uses.
If i put out all the 330s I have I couldn't keep up with skinning and put up.
Would need a few more freezers

This......Where is the money going! Did not the government have to rebate billions of dollars to companies they charged in tariffs? Are the companies giving the customer rebates, for paying higher prices?

I didn't read all this jibber-jabber and it may have already been stated, but did the Belisle 330s increase this much in Canada, too?

I'm not necessarily a Trump fan, but how is this different than any other politician? You could insert practically any political leader in the last fifty years (US or Canadian) into that post and it would be equally true.


The US has a poor reputation with much of the world for treaty breaking. Make a treaty with the US and it is good until the next election and a new administration comes to power. I think the US is the greatest country in the world, when you compare it to the other choices, but I'm not blind to its faults, and this is a big one on the world stage.

I don't believe so. Or at least, I recall some of the Canadians on here (Shakey for one, but there were others I don't recall) stating a while back that they saw no reason to try the Duke Super Mags at Belisle prices. Apparently in Canada the new Dukes cost the same as the Belisles. That might be the result of Canadas tariffs on the US, I'm not sure.

does a Trade Agreement carry the full force of a Treaty?

USMCA is not a “treaty” in the constitutional sense. It is a congressionally approved executive agreement, not an Article II treaty requiring a two thirds Senate vote.

A dozen Belisle 330’s are 338 USD (or less) in Canada. (I bought a bunch a few month ago at basspro for 25 cdn each.)
A dozen duke 330 super mags are 331 usd. Canada removed the reciprical tariff early last year so no import tax currently. however, its gonna be slapped on again sept 8 at which point belisle will be much cheaper than duke.

More importantly- very few here are buying a product marked as being from the US. Stores have signs that state where a product originates.
That market share is long gone.

This situation is not good for either of us.

Those suckers went out of stock fast! Once it spread on the social media trapping pages, they were gone. Whether you needed more or not, buy all you could……lol
