Been rounding up horses for a long time, but the Govt can't get rid of them, they stay in the corrals and get fed for a long time...NVwrangler or whatever his name is, lol, can give you the real deal...

Slaughterhouses for horses were shut down years ago. Now you just shoot them and bury them when they get old.

Trump did have the 1000$ incentive removed for adoption of the wild horses. That was a lot cheaper than feeding them in pens and encouraged more people to take them.

Importing the beef may bring prices down a small amount few buying will even notice for a brief time . But the American producers that need to sell during that time will be financhly harmed and depending on hoe tight they book are running be put out of business.

The cattlemen around here are investing big time in new pasture land, equipment, and facilities. Eastern states don't have the drought problem plaguing the west. Now we need facilities to finish and slaughter the cattle, but nobody in the east wants to live near a feed lot.

Most people couldn't tell horse meat from beef. Kill a horse and gain one "cow" with one bolt.

there has been a ton of horse suffering caused by shutting down the U.S horse slaughter. Instead of horses being slaughtered here they got tossed on trucks and shipped to mainly Mexico where regulations are more lax. Opening U.S horse slaughter again would make way to much sense for a Politician to want to enact that.

The Mustangs have been rounded up for years, the pay to let them stand around in pens and slowly die, it's moronic and cruel, would be far better to slaughter them. No one wants to adopt the horses over 5 years old, should just ship all the 4 year old + ones to the slaughter plants.

People started dumping lots of horses after the slaughter houses closed. There's a lot of abandoned/feral horses in Kentucky and at least some in Ohio and West Virginia.

I knew a guy who worked in a horse slaughter house near Marion, Ohio. He's dead now. They used to run huge numbers through it. He used to occasionally purchase really nice horses, that were just sent to slaughter.

I tried looking stuff up outta curiosity and nothing but videos by anti horser slaughter groups pets and the like... All j can think is ...why don't they use all these donations to buy one of them big ranch in texas and just plop them all in there in a high fence ?

Because its all about the donations not the horses.

Most rescues are some overweight alcoholic woman who likes to horde animals and isn't to proud to grift for donations to enable it.

But the TDS crew will always search for the next cut to open. Mainly done by playing their game and reposting their propaganda. Doesn?t take a rocket scientist to figure out their strengths, it certainly is not in the numbers.
