Thanks Donner, I picked a couple up for $150.00 I only need one and I have a guy wanting the other he's going to get a pretty good deal. As am I.

I would call a couple of the closest salebarns. If you need a national average this might be the place but locally things can change fast and the auctioneers or salebarn managers know the folks who consign there and sometimes when.

Talked to a farmer in the dove field this morning and he stated he needed $5 corn to cover his inputs on his row crops. Not there yet but he said he could contract some January corn at $5.30. Prebought his next years anhydrous and it went up over $90 a ton the next day and he said it was several hundred higher this year over last......
I don't know how much lower beef and cattle can honestly drop before something happens. Livestock producers have really only been finally covering costs but sure not out buying farms and much new equipment or trucks or building bigger herds......price drops much more and incentive to build bigger is going to dwindle.

I am guessing that was a private deal on those calves or else folks would be filling trucks full at $150 and feeding out for a few months and quadrupling up.....if you have a link to a bunch more you can PM me blush
