just curious, but arent doves considered a migratory bird, and require steel shot? ive never hunted them.

I'm guessing that at your advanced age, with your limited eyesight and molasses-like reflexes, you'll be wasting a lot of ammo,,,, IF you remember to bring your gun.

I already put the gun in the truck so I wouldn't forget, mister smart aleck!

Doves don't require a migratory stamp, or woodcock either.

Went to Dunbar Slough this morning. Fantastic looking sunflower plots, but very few birds. I heard the same from the Boone Forks area Brushy Creek - no birds.

Let me know Mondays open LOL, was usually when the old man and I would get out, as he worked every other day
