Years back my students use to make a series of prank electronics
I also own a few Kill Squeaks.

Im planning on setting a few cage traps for cats and am looking for something with a consistent bird chirp or squeak,,, is there something out there that is less than the$27.00 bird chirp , I really dont want the whole "bird
Or Tom or Tim? how about a chirp without the bird or a kitten meow that is timed

Can't remember the name of it or exactly who it was but at the FTA rendevouz one of the demo presenters had something he used and was very adamant that it was the cat's meow for working.

I've been building and selling squeakers for about 25 years now, you won't find a decent one for less than 30.00 and even them the animal sounds are usually sub-standard

Mine now start at $40.00 for regular units and I've just started selling Solar Panel units as well for $50.00

They have real animal sounds and are timed to play one minute or 30 seconds, depending on which you want

Will put on sounds from my library as well at no cost, just have to wait for me to build the units
can email me at tom@wasatchwild.com for info !!

Don't tie up the forum for info Please !

Gritguys squeakers are a blast. Mountain lions love them. I leave trail cams on them year round for entertainment. [Linked Image]

I had to start hanging them high when the bears are out. They love them. Lions are obsessed with them. I have picture sequences of a lion sitting there staring at them, swatting at them, rolling around etc for over an hour. Fox will check them out, coyotes are a little more timid. I haven't had any bobcats check them out but there are so many lions I am pretty sure they’ve killed them all. I’m talking 100 plus lion photos to one bobcat running 30 cameras.

Never tried them where pine marten would be. Owls and hawks will check them out. The batteries last for a long time.
