No, but I've been thinking about buying a waste oil heater; anybody have any suggestions.

Almost everyone here uses fuel oil....a few natural gas ,but gas isn't available everywhere, only certain neighborhoods...at least there's no road tax.

Our shop has ran on clean burn waste oil furnaces since 1988. We’re on our second and it’s still going strong. Can’t say enough good things about clean burn

We heat with it and a wood stove. Works great but the gubmint is trying to shut it down. Huge old cast iron radiators are great for drying wet clothes in the winter.

Save all my waste oil and give it to a mechanic that heats his shop with it. Its getting harder for him to get waste oil from businesses because of all the permits/rules associated with a business disposing of oil...darn shame.

I saw a news story, a few days ago, where the theft of used cooking oil is on the rise again.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I used to heat with fuel oil. Way back when it hit $1.45 a gallon I got a good wood stove and started heating with firewood. I still have the oil furnace but haven't turned it on in at least fifteen years.

Eh...wot?

Heat and hot water totally with firewood. Neighbor got auto delivery 3 weeks ago $5.80/gallon for heating oil. People are going to be hurting this winter.
