Been wanting to get some of these for a while now . Alot more common style in the easter parts of the world for pole fishing . see them being used by them guys fishing for stocked carp or shrimp with those big cane pole looking deals


the ones I really wanted where on temu and are more like this but these all where really cheap on Amazon so said why not . these right here even come in there own lil travel tubes


but these are the other versions I really wanted to try . they have these lil bead deals that floor up and down in the stems not 100% sure on how those work but think it's like a visual thing tho (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) you see the float going up and down , because these are actually set up a lot do times so they raise up when the fish pick the bait up off the bottom.


another interesting thing is they don't attach to the line like...well any wester style float really . all these tho of floats use a eye on the bottom and you ring them like you would a sinker on a Carolina rig...but well a float but these lil deal just have sharpened ends. so they use these little rubber connectors deals . that just pop.on and off the bottom... they have a really really good connection too but arnt super hard to take off if you wanted ..so that neat


also made sure to get my favorite lil cheap clear wagglers . swear these are the bomb at parks and stuff . I'll fish right next to people with regular bobbers and out fish them think it's because the fish are used to the big shadows regular floats make and they see them all the time in those places ..idk but they work

and just dunked them in the bait take with some split shots just to see and it's crazy how sensitive the long one is . I mean they all are but that one is gonna be murder on slem of these light shy biting bream or those bait stealing Golden shiners lol. give me something to play with while the bigger rods are soaking

I haven't gone to that extreme, but the Thill line of floats has some really good presentation specific ones.

I have went though a lot of those lil guys , love them but man it hurt when you pop one off on a snag

Wolfie I tried those little asian bobbers a few years ago and really like em for a finicky bite on pressured lakes. I just dont like having to cut the line to go bobberless.

Tie on a loop knot or tiny swivel... Attach your Bober to that swell or loop, and then you can take the bobber off. It doesn't work as a slip bobber that way, though.

I like the ability to cast far with the weighted bobber have it stand up quick , I was fishing places where the bite was on the fall and if you didn't catch it it was reel in and send it again.

Ok i watched that video. Appears to me when the bobber goes under you have a bite. How is this different that any other bobber???

that was just showing the type of fishing thosw are usually used in not the different ways they can be used . it's called hera or something. stocked pods lighting bidogn fish , poles with no reels ect .

anyhow generally all these primarily work like normal bobbers . fish pulls down bobber goes down . Their just really long and really sensitive. smaller profile or clear body gives off less of a shadow under the water and smaller side makes them way more sensitive. But due to there length they can also be set up to detect a "Lift bite " . so apparently with some of these fish people who use these target , tench and crucian crap apparently the main ones. they will do this weird deal any times where they will very lightly pick up the bait and swim up in the water column and just sit there . as as you saw in the video these guy might have like 3-6' of line under the float. so that fish can move around a decent bit till you really notice something on the float . so to counter that they set these up to detect a lift bite . they'll add split shots to certain parts of the line to get the float sitting pretty low in the water . like you might only see the very top 1-3" of that float . Fish come by picks up the bait and lifting up the weights and that I turn allowed the float to rise up. Showing hay a fish just picked up the bait and moved up in the water column as. you might wanna go ahead and set the hook. and some.of these fish are so light biting your just barely seeing the floor move up and down and those little different colores bars kinda help you focus and really be able to see if it's actually moving up or down or not . it'

from my understanding there not really any fish in the US that really do that so it's probably kinda a pointless method for like 99% of us but hay it's something different

that would require me to me most passionate about one thing

so with these their basic slip floats . most have these little rings already attached to the bottoms. honestly the easiest way I found is just to use these rubber bobber stops you can get for normal slip floats . can get like 500 of them on Amazon for like $5


put you lon though one of the lil wire loops


slide the stopper up and off the wire on to the line and up where you want it



then side the float on via the the eyelet then add another stopper



and that's the way way just gotta have those . same goes for the other floats only deal is with these is they don't have an eyelet on the bottom



so with these you gotta use one of these little float adapter things .it's just a rubber tube thing with a swivel on one end and a small hole one the other



and all you do is just stick the end of the float into the hotel and it grips it pretty well. like it's actually not easy to just pull it out



then you just use the eye on the swivel to put them on like showed earlier. neat thing is you just use the lil connector deal to swap the floats out or if you wind want a foot anymore you can just level it on there line after you take the float off .

now if you don't wanna worry about all the stoppers and stuff , a lot of times I just half hitch thought the eyelet.




and for the ones without eyelet I've seen folks just use some electrical tip to just tape the lines on
