Fall season is upon us and I love trying new recipes this time of year. Post your best recipe or favorite meal. It can be a wild game recipe, crockpot recipe, dessert, smoked foods recipe, soups, what ever your heart desires.
My girlfriend makes a killer chicken parm, it’s my favorite meal that she makes.

Turtle stew clean and brown turtle meat with Cajun seasoning. Pull and put to the side. Add butter and flour to said browning pot must be cast iron. Stir until brown we prefer light brown add any stock or bone broth then add celery onions and bell pepper cook down to the thickness you like . Can add flour to thicken up. Add turtle meat and simmer until tender. Serve over rice

Forgot two notes don’t stop stirring when making a roux and scrape the pan to get the flavor. Also can add patatoes and carrots. Add patatoes first the take a lil longer to cook

This is still America and it's Friday night. If 2 guys can't bicker and squabble on Friday night i
we might as well turn in our guns and be Canadians!

Grate an entire carrot into a metal pan, cover the carrot with milk, put the pan on the stove and warm it up, it doesn't need to simmer just good and warm. Use a cloth to squeeze out the milk over a bowl, you'll have cooked carrots and sweet orange milk. My kids love this recipe, they like the carrot and the orange milk, great healthy, simple snack for the kids.
