Does that little gap look like a good spot for a couple 330's? [Linked Image]

Might have to wait a few weeks til I can walk on the water.
Or dig out the chest waders.
There is a good sized beaver house over by the bush line.I bet I could clean out that house with a set at that gap,and pick up an otter or two as well.

Ever notice that when ice breaks the “sheet” you’re standing on slides sideways, makes 3’ deep water turn into 5’ immediately because I’m no longer vertical!! LOL

It happens suddenly allright.
The worst feeling for me is going through shell ice.Up a few feet in the air covered with snow and no water underneath.

My trail cameras have been picking up a few coyote, fisher, coon and bobcat. Might be an interesting season.

Ice can create some extra work instead of making things easier sometimes.

You could not ask for a better spot. I bet the Beaver Otter and others pass through that little Pinch Spot (What I call it) every night.

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

Beaver and Otter can swim. Dive stick if deep.
