We're missing the TS winds. They're about 45 to 60 miles west of me. We have been getting light rain on and off all day with occasional gusts to about 25 mph.

Looks like the heavier bands of rain are starting to move over me now.

Just for a ball game? Sure it's Alabama-Georgia but it's just a ball game.

Kidd, don't wish a hurricane on anyone but if one would come in about Houston it would bust the drought we're in up here in Arkansas.

Seriously though, it looks like Destin is about to get plastered. Hoping this one moves in quick and weakens fast. We can use the rain but not the wind.

Been raining up here in Newnan for a few hours now. I guess time will tell how rough it may get later. Hope all will be well down on the coast.

Haven't yet seen footage from the coast but up here south of Atlanta just sopping wet with a breeze is about it. We got a flood watch warning but that's about it. Figure we'll see the usual find out which storm drains aren't kept clear of leaves on the roads.

Y'all don't go hoggin all that rain. We need some out here bad. My fish pond is so dry I have to flip the fish over so that they get done on both sides.

Needed the rain here, not alot of damage just dead timber falling. A tree fell on a house in bham and killed a couple of people though.
