Been cleaning up straightening up get some traps looked at been neglected.
Had couple dozen DPs been sitting way to long. I decided they needed new coat paint. Went in shop looked at spray paint shelf. Grab all the cans I have marked with Won't Spray.
Made up quick little deal to pop them and get paint out. Not the first time I have done the save spay paint this way. Most the cans were part cans of white, was a tan a light Grey. There was one pretty full can red and one of yellow. Got them all popped dumped into a plastic coffee can. Came up with funky pink color. I dont care about about color just wanted a new coat of something.
Real men aren't afraid to use this color.
Think MaCat be happy with me.

Definitely use those in a "no theft" area.

Looks like the paint covered good

Shiny objects attract raccoons. I suspect a chrome look may help.

I didn't have any cans of blue in my won't spray batch. Would have probably made it more of purple?

Not a totally don't make a mess deal. If I did this can popping thing more often I have ideas could dial it in really good. if you look at the tote in the picture. You can see that I didn't have them totally under control. I did not end up wearing any though.
So I gloves up with nitrile gloves. I had what I believe they used to call #10 soup can. I drove a 20 penny nail threw the can. Placed my spray can in soup can. Cover end of soup can with piece plastic. Then hit the nail to punch paint can. Soup can held over coffee can in tote. It still get bit wild because of course pressure has to vent. That's why red got away from me a bit was full can stem broken.
If person has vision and some pvc pipe could make fine can popper. Maybe even available on Amazon. I don't know.

I put golfballs on mine for years might have even been first to do it. I literally had thousands of ball at times. Was diving golf course ponds. I used them as strike indicators. Had squirrels and mice stealing bait. Got tired getting out truck to check bait. Golf ball not off top of trap drive right by.

That traps did have various amount of old paint on them. But yes I'm happy with how they coated.
I'm setting all on private ground so not to worried about thieves. I usually paint them all white so I can see them.

All my tools are spray painted pink. My postit notes are always pink. When I mark up construction drawings, my notes are always pink. I always have a pink pen in my truck. Why? Nobody else on the work site uses pink so it's all.mine and everyone knows who made the note or owns the tool.

I get that. Same reason I had 2 pink scuba tanks. Guy selling them had them for his wife. Was having hard time selling because they were pink. So i bought them at good price I didn't care about color long as held air. Never had problem picking those two tanks out of pile on dive job. Never worried about them walking off.
