I have used 120 dukes and they smash even the biggest hogs. Just got some new 120 super mags to try this year. They are around 5”. Sometimes the 160 is just too big for holes unless you’re going to dig and fit them in. Groundhogs will squeeze there head into a small opening. Set trigger tight to one side and they rarely ever move after capture. The 155’s should be perfect.

The Duke 155's are a very strong trap, great whistle pig and skunk trap. Avoid the Bridgers.

The Bridger #155 issues have been resolved. The spring eyes clear the jaw rivets without catching and the new trigger is crisper.

So you are saying that the Bridger 150 and 155 traps have been corrected so that they function like a good body grip trap should, better than the previous junk? When did this happen? Was this info posted so trappers were made aware of the “fix”? Is MTP and other vendors advertising the new & improved traps? If I order Bridger 150/155 traps today will I receive the old stock still on the shelves, or the “fixed” traps? How will I be guaranteed that I won’t receive the same junk I’ve already been sold?

I would contact MPT, i am sure that they would know and tell you if the problem has been corrected and they have to corrected traps in stock.
