Full of homeless beggars and liberals. Just like the Springs and Denver. For my money the three are all the same city.

I was in Cañon City a few weeks ago. Rented a motel room. I don't sleep much. Woke up about 2 A.M. Went outside to smoke a cigar. Desk clerk was there. I watched her chase off several homeless wanting to go in and get coffee. Called the cops on a guy looking for unlocked cars. Whole state is a mess. Makes me sad to see what it is today compared to what it was 50 years ago.

Beautiful state but id not spend a nickel out there due to their anti everything stance, i been that way since the 90's towards that messed up state.

As for the fur banning, id imagine if they tried to ban a fur auction that would cross over into some federal laws about interstate commerce. Wouldn't matter i guess cause someone would have to file a lawsuit and spend the money push the issue through the courts and unless a grass roots effort did that you don't have anyone else to do it for you. NTA is a joke and appears sportsman alliance has fell off the planet.

Outfitter I hunted with for years blames all this nonsense on the CA nitwits that moved there. He said Steamboat Springs is overrun with them.

I never been there but I believe that fake country boy cowboy John Denver was responsible for attracting all those dope smoking hippies that took the place over.

I actually loved Colorado, but in reality, I only spent about a week there about 10 years ago. I'd not go back if they banned the sale of fur, much like I'd never consider visiting California and a bunch of Municipalities through Mi, Mass, and Fla. for that reason.

You're just jealous because John Denver took an occasional bath and swung by the barbershop, but Gordon Lightfoot didn't! grin

Love John Denver's music. Luckily I don't let their politics get in my way when I like something.

Sunshine almost always made him cry. What was up with that? Emotional instability or drug use?

Pueblo Colorado,,, I remember there was a place you could request information from..or something like that from a public service announcement.. not sure what it was exactly.
Just remember the name of the place because of the commercial

Big steel mill there. Or it was. Production has been cut way down. It stank. When I was a kid everyone called it pew town.

My grandfather worked in and retired from CF&I Steel in Pueblo. Uncle worked there til they busted the union. Dad left Pueblo after college for my mom in Wisconsin.

John Denver has been dead for over 20 years. I am shocked that there are so many people that would speak ill of the dead, and blame him for some kind of social/cultural effect that
A) You don’t know if that effect was real, or just some kind of B.S. figment of your imaginations.
B) You don’t know if John Denver intended for that effect to occur when he talked about how much he love being in the Rocky Mountains.
I wish Colorado could be like it was 50 years ago also, but you people that demean and character assassinate a person that has been dead for many years without any facts to backup your moronic opinions are disgusting
