Got pulled off the marsh today. Wind was a real issue with my canoe. Will take a break for a couple days as we have several appointments, a concert and a funeral the next 3 days.

Cooled off last night, finally connected on a buck mink.
Pocket set with a #11, baited with muskrat. No lure or scent.

Nice mink K. I had a nice buck mink today as well. I caught a smaller male earlier this week. Just now getting some water sets out. I've mainly been trapping coon in the farm fields. I'm up to 51 now. Should be higher but the wet weather forced me to spring my dry sets so I wouldn't tear up the fields. Keep up the good work.

59 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.
