I would have to agree that when it comes to canines, especially coyotes, you're not always going to see the sign, but the location and it's features can still prove to be perfect for what canines need both for food and travel purposes. When I find a location like this, I give it a try because I've seen where coyotes will be making the rounds so to speak and only swing through a certain location every two weeks or so- thus leaving little, if any sign, but for kills and the ocassional scat.

Set simple & set often...you'll catch fur. Common sense on the traplines goes a long way.
