I'll get a few pics tomorrow when i run my line. I mostly use the 90 degree elbow set in the water.

real good site wheeler, would 90 degree elbows or 45s help keep the bait and lure from the weather.if i painted them black would they be as effective,or is eye appeal a big part of it?what size pipe is best?

white pipe is probly best but black or gray works good too. i like to set mine at about a 60 degree angle to the ground and set the trap on that side.

i use 1.5 in pipe. leave it white, it attracts them. I just put a foot and a half piece of pip[e in the ground at 45 degrees. all ive been usin this year. work great along the edges of river or pond banks but also havin a lot of luck on dry land too.

I don't have any photos of the set... just the aftemath of using it. Bang a piece 1.5 inch PVC about 18inches long into the ground at a 45 degree angle. stuff in some leaves then bait, then a few more leaves. put the trap under the lip of the pipe, collect your coon in the morning. works good on grey's too.
