I'm looking to catch a skunk since they are open season here in PA. I wanted to get some skunk essence and stuff but i'm actually interested in trying the meat since they say its white, clean, and somewhat tender, at least that what they say. I've heard that people have had great success on rotten meat and eggs, raw eggs, fruity jams and jelly's, bugs and insects, and cheese as bait. A 1.5 coil-spring wouldn't be too big would it? A youth pamphlet I picked up says that the #11 dls is the "ideal skunk trap" I could see that but its a little much in my opinion, since a skunk is smaller than your average coon and not as strong as another animal like a fisher or a mink as well.

Cheeto puffs work really well. I don’t go after skunks That often but when I do I use cheese puffs and I always catch them within the first couple of days

I think a 1.5 would be great I’ve seen skunks caught in a #3 coil spring. As far as bait get some sardines and tuna mix em together add an egg or two bacon grease. Or just use rotten meat go catch a bluegill and chunk it up and put it in a dirt hole. Pm me when you get a chance

Sardines! Anything from a #1 - #1.5 is good!

After 200+ years, why would a government want to take your guns away, unless they were going to do something you would shoot them for???

They like sweet stuff. Peanut butter and bread works good in the back on a live cage.
