Beavah business is booming just not enough trappers. Had another rancher call a few times now to see if I would help thin them out. So, this afternoon I went a set one set. He said he keeps busting dams and opening culverts up and ask for some help. I set a float set.

True it is a good thing but I'm just a part timer trapper. I hate to turn some old friends so I can't say no. I need to get some young bucks into trapping.

Snowy, I have a friend who lives in Montana, he’s an elk guide. I think he lives around Lewiston.? He’s a good beaver trapper.

My favorite fur bearer...to match wits with.

Good luck ...and keep us posted

Sounds like a problem I'd like to have. If I was retired (semi-retirement soon) I'd be pestering you about where I could stay while I tried to put a hurting on your local beaver population.

It's only a 2,200 mile, 32 hour drive! LOL

Eh...wot?

I'm pretty close to Lewistown. So much to trap here and no problem getting permission to trap. Miles and miles of crick bottoms everyone wants trappers.

Dang, wrong side of the state. I do prefer your side to mine, though, for obvious reasons (Missoula).
