I did that in a sealed five gallon bucket years ago. I went out of town and buried it a couple feet deep in sand. When I went back to check it a couple years later it had been dug up and the bucket was broken up around the top. I don't know if it was dogs or coyotes that got into it. I planned on dumping it in several brushy places for draw stations to snare coyotes. What is your planned use for it?

United we stand.

I do this with skulls and it works great. Toss the whole critter skull in a bucket or barrel, fill with water and let it soak all summer. Cleans the bones/antlers/skulls right up. Sure its smells but ive smelt worse.

Did you open it this morning? I walked out on my deck this morning here in Utah and I think I smelled it.

I would run everything thru a tea strainer its just a tight screen mesh bowl use a wooden spoon to help it thru put into clean glass jars and let the cream and juice separate after a couple days pour off the juice and stabilize seperate from the cream there shouldnt be any meat still in there just juice and an oil slick cream
