Don't remember that color.

Is that the color on the VIN tag ??

Curious....what is the paint code ?.

Looks good !

Chamois Yellow GM code 56. Was a one owner car from a guy that my dad knew when I bought it in 1990 as a 14 year old kid for $750. Quarter panels were so bad you could stick your hands through them. Guy had been in a motorcycle accident and lost an arm. He had quit driving the car and left it uncovered for 10 years. Interesting enough, my dad wanted the LT1 350 engine out of it, but I convinced him to restore it for my first driver. Keeping it a matching numbers cars back then wasn’t as big of a deal as it is today. I JUST HAD to go bright red as a teenager. I’ll find some pics from when we started the job 2.5 years ago. I wouldn’t know where the photos are from the resto in 1990.

I’ve got 1000 pics. Shows where we started and how we worked in tandem on the engine and body as was first discussed. We being my 70 yr old dad and I.
