I worked there for a few months one summer building switching equipment over and taking down an existing cell tower. Sure made the song more believable after talking with the land owner the towers were on. Backwoods man i remember him talking about how alligators were not a concern and his kids would push them out of the way when they were swimming.

I was 18 or 19 and never determined if he was being genuine or just messing with a young Yankee. Either would be just as likely.
